Today I accidentally bought my first set of single-walled rims.

They appeared double walled in the profile-wise product pic!
So cheap they essentially went straight from the box to truing stand.
Also, the grove is so deep because of the faux- double wall profile that I ended up using a roll of velox and a rim strip for each.
Might not be the end of the world. I've had really good results with single-walled rims, and I like to imagine the extra air volume making the tires more comfy. Who knows if it's really making a difference though...
