I have a Giro that is similar to the nutcase that I use in the winter, the minimal venting helps me stay warm and dry in the perpetual wet. The visor helps keep rain off my glasses. As far as I'm concerned all cycling helmets look stupid and any difference in their minimal protection is fairly irrelevant, so my only concerns are comfort and suitability for conditions.
