Is this for a college campus bike? If so, my advice is not to do it. If nothing else somebody is going to grab that Thompson seat post. For college campus use you need a semi-expendable beater bike.

Is the bike worth $800.00? I honestly don't know. Maybe. It's worth whatever the seller and a buyer can agree on.

It looks like a pretty cool bike to me and it has some pretty nice parts. I'd think that somebody who wanted a nice but out-of-the-box looking bike and didn't who want to pay new bike price might go the whole $800.
