Thanks! I just looked at the AWOL, the Diverge Elite A1, and the Crux E5. Of thiose three, I like the Diverge best. However, the Diverge is using Tiagra. I'm not sure how they compare to the 2009 Tricross 105. If the Bike shop will come down to at least $1,000, I think I will still purchase the 09'.

Keep in mind your bike has linear pull brakes. Most equivalent bikes have moved to discs.
That is also a 10s, which would make it equivalent to a Tiagra based bike, I think.
I snagged the basic version of the 2011 Tricross for $200... plus a bit of maintenance. 8s, I think. If I wanted, I cold upgrade it to new 11s Ultegra, and probably save some on what you're paying for the 2009 bike.
Mine was rated at just over $1000 new.
