Well, I've got 98 SE on both boxes, which I think is good up to 128Gb, but the hard drives are much smaller than that, so it's not an issue. IIRC, the original 98 was good for partitions up to 32Gb. One limitation is that you can't defrag a FAT32 hard drive in DOS mode, and have to do in Win98 mode using the Win utility.
