DigitalEPO.com however, I ride with a group of older guys on a rare occasion. I'd say the average age of the group 60+ and they hustle - pacelining and everything. The average speed on road bikes is quite high. When it's my turn to pull, we're usually going around 22-25mph and they're all breathing down my neck wanting me to go faster. If the guy is in shape, I'd imagine 18mph isn't too far off base, even on mtb tires.

Went to the LBS to get a test antares today. Feels pretty good. I like the shape and how flat it is.
