Thanks as this was really helpful. I just had this computer installed and now find that works both ways. If your computer is running, then pressing and holding the top button is the only way to activate the "no/yes" menu for a new ride. However, if the computer has been dormant for awhile and is basically shut down (it only shows the time), then the approach in the manual will work. That is, when the computer is shut down if you push the bottom button or move the wheel a couple of rotations, it will offer the "new ride?" menu. This manual is really poorly done and it certainly doesn't show your approach. We are all lucky you discovered it. Thanks,
