Awesome ! Don't worry about your bike, it's the engine that matters most, especially in track racing. There was a young Cat 1 guy down here that raced over a year on a box stock Bianchi Pista, and completely dominated the rich kids on their carbon wunderbikes.
Thanks, yeah, not planning on upgrading anytime soon. It's an Aventon Mataro frame that I built up with mostly spare parts from my street fixed gear bike, plus a decent (Ellipse) wheelset that I got a great deal on. Definitely inspired me to throw in more interval training to my routine, at least 2x per week.
