It might be hard to tell depending on the professionalism of a potential re-painter. That being said, trust your gut. Look for errors in the paint. Look at where the fades occur and around the hardware.

Full disclosure, I know nothing about Colnagos except that I would love to have one. I'd probably consider it at that price even if it is a respray. I happen to think it looks cool.
