They did, but I guess they are being extremely lenient with her. She took the dog to her Mom's from what I gather from my neighbor. That lasted about a week and a half. This past Sunday night, I heard the dog bark up there, and figured that she would take the dog back on Monday morning when she left for work. That did not happen. Instead, she N+1'd a cat into her apartment in hopes that it would keep the dog calm. Nope. The cat can be heard in the hallway but not my apartment.
Yesterday the cop and I both went to the office to discuss with the manager the situation. They are apparently letting her break her lease early so she can move with the dog. I don't care who moves, I don't care if the dog stays or goes, or she stays or goes, I just want the early morning barking to stop. The cop was going to suggest that she remove the dog until she moves out when he called her yesterday. Either he didn't get a hold of her, or she gives less than a flying f about her neighbors.
So, I have talked to her, left notes on her door, talked to management, documented occurrences with them, and now the township police are involved. I don't know what else I am supposed to do. I sleep with 2 fans on already to try to drown out the noise. I can't go to bed any earlier than I do because I work second shift.
