LH Thompson has a pretty nice facility in Macon Georgia. Bike parts are only a small part of what they do.
The state of Georgia actually has a decent amount of aerospace engineering companies and Georgia Tech has one of the top AE programs. Thompson does lots of stuff for aerospace as well as custom design, testing and process engineering. I hear that they do tours. rex615 would probably like to check it out.
