Some of my friends ran into Frankie waitressing in a small country restaurant in Hiram.
Sadly, Slaughter's Store has closed too, leaving a huge hole in some of our routes way out west.
That is a shame, Frankie's was such a cool place. Loved the walls with all the signatures. My son and I got to sign it too a few years ago. They were intrigued by our "stickbikes".
We went by there this summer and remember Frankie's was closed that day so we went on ahead and had lunch in Cedartown (IIRC). My son was bemoaning missing out on their excellent eggplant (melanzane alla Parmigiana) and you could even find decent beer there.
