Saving the nice components I had planned for the steamroller to be used on a road only fixed machine.

I had the Supercorsa Pista in mind, but couldnt justify the $2,000+ price tag. Saw the look AC 364, and thought it would be of comparable quality for 1/3 of the cost.. but boy was I wrong. As of now, the steamroller is the only bike on my stand. I would like to keep the collection down to two, but I am also interested in a touring bike for cross state/country rides with a few buddies of mine back home in TX. Dirt fixed, road fixed, and possibly a touring gearie. So.. only three, thats normal right?
Congrats - hope your transfer works out well...

I'm in the minority here but having reduced my own collection to 3 bikes - I think you're on the right track. I have my track frame bike that gets reinvented regularly to fit my mood, my ol' roadie which has fender/rack mounts and fits pretty wide tires if I want to go "adventuring," & my full-squish MTB. Covers every riding style or purpose I need.

I'm pretty sure I told you that before giving it to my son I regularly rode "our" Steamroller as a fixed MTB? I took it single-tracking so had risers instead of drops like your plan. If you're doing black bits on yours - that black chain I tried to give you is still available.

Stay well & ride safe...it was a pleasure doing bidness with you and if you'd care to meet-up for a ride before you leave - let me know...
