Local shops might not be interested unless there is something in it for them. Large club members might not be interested in entry level bikes. Instead, I recommend Craigslist.

Potential buyers will want a test ride. Meet them at the longest cul-de-sac in your area. Take a picture of their vehicle and license plate. Take a picture of their driver's license. Tell them to ride in the cul-de-sac only, and stand at the entrance to the cul-de-sac so you can block them if they try to go outside.

Be prepared for low-ball offers by email. Cash only.
