I'll bet that this is what happened.
This is such an active forum, that threads can get buried back quite a few pages after a few days.
I was to lazy to look at all the back pages.

Word of advice - Any time you're looking for a thread you've created:
- Click on your username in the top right of any forum page (above the main search)
- Click the 'Find Latest Threads' link under your username and pic on the left (see below pic)
That's what I did.
That's what thew me for a loop.
Because the thread wasn't there.
