I think that's what I have, like extra heavy duty duct tape. I am using it for various things until it gets to about 1/3 roll and then will put that away for my tour tool kit.
I can't remember the last time I used any around the house. For "to go" tape they should have removed the center tube or at least made it smaller but I'll just compress it if need be.
