I've always thought it would be cool to make up something like the hardware stores have for checking thread sizes........in this case for French, Italian, British, JIS bottom bracket and pedal threads. I think this would come in pretty handy for some folks. I also like to keep an orphan arm in my tool box for stress relieving spokes during a wheel build.

I would also agree that the OPs orphan could make someones day and it'd be worth offering it up.
