I use Speedplay Zero Aero Walkables. I've lost two so far in a year.

I'd be hesitant to use Shoe Goo because Speedplays should be kept clean, and you need to remove the walkable portion to clean them.

You actually don't need the round coffee cup cover unless you anticipate walking around in the dirt or sand. I never bring mine.

I like the convenience but they're imperfect. I've stocked up a few extra covers. This must be part of their business plan.
