Girl's bikes are more often in better shape. Less likely to have their chain guards, fenders etc. removed & beaten to extremes. Schwinn built the Stingrays until 1979. Raleigh had the Chopper until 1981. They're still many Stingrays in America's basements, sheds, etc. If it was a Schwinn Krate or an earlier Stingray, that would be a collectible bike. Chris
