Hey D, sorry to hear about your thin-out and health concerns. Your post reminded me of something I saw recently on ATL CL. Someone named "Dean" was downsizing to a smaller place and had a ton of parts & bikes for sale in December/January, some big names. Reached out to him to see what he had, he responded, had mostly 60cm+ bikes and lots of higher-end parts. He mentioned that so far, only one person came to look at it all but expected everything for a song, so he kindly thanked him for his offer then sent him on his way. I think he wanted it all to go in a big haul because I mentioned I'd like to take 2-3 of his bikes versus the whole haul and he never responded, even to a follow-up. I guess offering to pick over was enough to turn him off and hadn't been able to get in touch since.

Hearing about collectors offloading always perks up my ears, but I'd feel like I was kicking a guy while he's down if I bought in on it. Hope you get where you need to be, brother.
