Resell value will be much better for the Niner no question, and the frame is most likely better as well. Hydraulic disc brakes are the way to go, much better power and modulation than mechanical.

I'm about the buy a 2016 Niner RLT 9 frameset and build it up with SRAM Force 1 hydro. Incredibly versatile bike.
