Replacing a fork very couple of years at up to $700 because it might break, is ok for riders with a sponcer, but as a recreational-to work rider its to hard to justify the cost.
Did you see one of the Japaneez riders hit the bitumin a couple of weeks ago on SBS when a carbon fork parted from his bike?
I missed it!!!!!!
I posted the pic in the thread, check out the faces of the bunch looking over at the poor sap trying to hold it together before he eats it!
