Bikes: Classic road bikes: 1986 Cannondale, 1978 Trek

Saw my old bike today...

As I was heading to dialysis, as I turned into the medical office park, I saw my old bike exiting-mid 80's Cannondale heavy touring bike, dark blue, front and rear racks, fenders, Brooks B66 saddle, and those sweet Suntour XC index shifters on bar-end pods, half-step+granny gearing, Nitto touring bars, v-brakes. Man, that was one hell of a bike! It was my main transportation mode through the last 2.5 years of engineering school, and was probably the best bike I owned.

I sold it 3 years ago, because between having no time, failing health, and no money, I neither needed or used a fully-equipped touring bike any more. I hated to sell it, but it was wasting space, and, besides, I needed the money. Since then, my energy has returned, and I've started riding again. After 6 months, I decided that I needed another 'dale in my life, so I went out and found a nice mid-80's C'dale road bike.
