So I went and got some MX6's but after about 10 mins of trying to clip in, it appears that my super-cool completely non-pretentious recessed-cleat dzr shoes will not abide all that extra pedal platform. So it's either shave off almost all the rubber from the bottom of the shoe (completely defeating their purpose) or get some different pedals.

My question: Should I get some new XC6's or some used Aliums from ebay?

That said, have some MX6's for sale in great condition. lol
