I have some serious mixed emotions about last night, there was an amazing event outside First Avenue - But we scored some last minute tickets to the Mumford & Sons show in St Paul. We ended up going to see Mumford and it was wonderful.

It turned into a Prince sing-a-long/dance party before Mumford took the stage, the house music was turned up loud and it was all Prince, Lisa took this picture when Purple Rain was playing:



And in a great tribute Mumford & Sons played Nothing Compares 2 U - One thing that made this tribute special was Mumford bringing out Blake Mills with his band (the openers). In fact, I can't think of a show when the headlining band spent so much on stage time with the opening band.
