This is a bike forum and hopefully I'm not out of line showing my respect to Prince.
On the day of his passing and before the newsbreak, this bar wrap arrived in the mail. Thought I'd give some color to the old tandem. Its actually called eggplant and there's nothing else of this tone on the bike. Strange thoughts but every once in awhile when I look at this color, Prince comes to mind.

I don't believe you can disrespect Prince with your bike photos. This is reported as the last photo of Prince:

I just got home from a ride. I didn't plan it, but I ended up at First Avenue, here's the memorial at The House That Prince Built:

Thanks for the updates HT.
We went to First Avenue last night for a couple of hours.
What incredible vibes of grief, disbelief and sadness.
At the same time, the Current staff did an incredible job, as well as the many performers.
Brought the spirits up far more than could be expected under the circumstances.

This NPR interview with Questlove had me laughing at his story about Prince, but the transcript is only partial, so you will need to listen to the audio for it: Questlove On Prince, Doo-Wop And The Food Equivalent Of The 'Mona Lisa' : NPR

The performance of my "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is pretty fantastic. I never knew about it until he passed. In my opinion that's the Beatles' best song and this version does it justice.
My wife saw Prince in the early 2000's in State College. Wish I'd gone with her.
