It was only my 3rd shift there so I doubt it was someone gunning for me, specifically. It was in Williamsburg which A) is dense AF with bikes and B) has tons of streets, like the one where this happened, that are half busy restaurants, half construction sites so they seem safe at first look but really don't have a ton of foot traffic. Prime hunting grounds for a jerk with a van and some clippers.

I have an original Ti Flight and have thought about making the seatpost a QR for this reason since I lock mine in the city too...I often use a backpack so I'll just toss it in with my helmet.
That's a good plan. If I can save enough of my pennies to get a new Brooks I'm gonna do that.
