The quality of tools in general has gone way downhill.

I treasure the saws, drill bits, hammers and files from the 1930's and 40's that were handed down to me from my grandfather. If you can find good hand tools at garage sales then snatch them up.

Agree. Some of Parks higher end bike-specific tools are OK but they are not the brand to buy for general purpose tools like hex wrenches and screwdrivers.


Check out the uneven jaws on these Craftsman pliers. I keep them around just for laughs.
