Steel frame, steel fork, v-brakes - are the nicer components worth the extra cost over the $699 Windsor Tourist? A lot of components are even the same or closely similar Shimano gear. Looks like the Trek 520 is basically double the money for an uncannily similar setup.

Just curious - I don't have a dog in the hunt.
