Hey everybody, first post here. Sorry if it's not in the right place, or if there is another thread I couldn't find.

I just picked up a (very rusty) 1974 Schwinn Varsity and was wondering about the paint. It looks original but the paint is a different color around the logos. Is this indicative that it was repainted, or is that what sometimes what happens with the older logos? I saved it from the dump so I'm not in any money.
