You're still talking nonsense and not addressing your original generalization. The brand of bike ridden has nothing to do with what you originally said.
As for the generalization, I should have mentioned that *from my experiences* was apart of a fixed gear riding group where most members all eventually got geared rides of their own. Often riding the geared ride more and forgoing the fixed gear/ track bike to craigslist/ fixielist.
For mentioning Cinelli, not everybody can afford a "nice" bike when entering the sport. Some buy a kilo tt or purefix and end up upgrading to a nicer track bike or a geared bike when the time comes that so choose to do so if that is even the case.
