Good thinking but no. I'm wondering what the person who got my turkey bacon sandwich thought.
On another good/bad tack, the guy who works in the kitchen who's my age has taken a liking to me in a friends-only way. (He's originally from Chicago and I think he empathizes.) One morning, he asked me if I wanted a piece of chocolate cake and then got mixed up and gave it to someone else. He did bring me a piece the next morning and we agreed we were square. On most days since then though he brings me a sample of whatever dessert we'll be having with lunch. (Today it was an apple turnover.) I have taken to setting them aside and eating them around 3:30-4 in the afternoon with a cup of coffee but sometimes I bring them home. I don't need the extra calories- even though I'm not having dessert with lunch- but it's nice to have a boost later in the day and it's such a kind thing to do that I don't want to tell him to stop.
