On a Brompton it is easy enough with a bit of patience to just put a few winds of electrical insulation tape on the bottom part of the seatpost...so when you pull it up the tape stops it at the correct height...Just takes a few tries to get the height just right..then it is fine for years...Watch the video of how to insert the Brompton designed insert to give you the idea of how to do it...Just means no one else taller than you can adjust the seat height..
