Precisely my experience too. And then it took a couple of weeks to even get that response. And, I might add, I finally got that response after I posted a detailed negative review on Amazon listing all the problems. When I did hear from the manufacturer (a single person company, I believe), I even offered help in troubleshooting (I'm an electrical engineer) but he wasn't interested in fixing the problem, it's just everyone else's problem.

So, it's a great idea with a lousy implementation and even worse technical support. Really worth staying a way from this product, in my view.
