Are you sure it is the motor? There is a lot that can go wrong. Motors aren't horribly expensive (the batteries are). I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't just buy a new motor/wheel from the aftermarket. To do that, you would need to know the power output of your battery/controller and match the motor (and electrical connections) to that (among other things)
