Is it easy to replace a motor/wheel
Hi! I am disabled and have used a Raleigh electric bike for years in place of a mobility scooter but now my motor has gone and supplier says a replacement will not be available til November! As I rely on the bike to get out I am trying to figure a solution that doesn't mean buying a replacement. Any ideas very gratefully received. I'm in the uk.

Are you sure it is the motor? There is a lot that can go wrong. Motors aren't horribly expensive (the batteries are). I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't just buy a new motor/wheel from the aftermarket. To do that, you would need to know the power output of your battery/controller and match the motor (and electrical connections) to that (among other things)
