In NoVA there's some gravel roads, ~ironically mostly in the wealthy areas, adds to the horsey rustic charm I guess. They don't go for long distances though. I'd guess one would have to go at least to Midwest to find a lot of dirt/gravel roads eh?

GravelMap.Com is interesting though it seems that vast # of dirt/gravel roads not listed.
