14/15 is good, especially if you have 48/49/50/51 sprockets to give you inchgear steps
48x15 is ~86, good for standing start one-lap
50x15 is ~88, good all-purpose gear for windy nites
48x14 is ~90, good for enduro events but will squash that massive jump you've got
49,50,51 x 14 good for pursuits if you're strong enough to crank out the watts
Normally you won't need the odd numbered rings (49 & 51) because one inchgear is negligable. But if you're feeling slightly off it could pay to go down just a little, opposite if you've overdone the EPO
Having spewed all that diatribe I couldn't think of anything worse than dicking around with gears all night. If I was me I'd pick a GP gear (say 50x15) and stick with it while I learnt some racecraft. Leave the dickin around for your mechanic once you've turned pro.
