Right. So something is not set up right, because when I get rub in that cross-chain config, I can half-click the big lever and it moves over and the rub is gone. Might actually need to reduce the tension on the barrel adjuster a bit. when the chain is on the small ring, and you're on 9-10, try seeing if the cage moves slightly if you reduce tension.
Otherwise, you might have to start from the beginning with
this. I think maybe when you first set up the FD, you skipped the part about hitting the small lever three times to get it all the way to low trim before setting the low limit. Everything follows from there.
aha ok , the FD was installed at a bike shop actually , it's at diff. city , hard to get back for a minor issue .
From your experience would barrel adjustment help , because i don't feel it's a cable tension issue , as when pulling half-click on big lever while on small ring , it looks to do absolutely nothing
, not moving even the tinniest bit .
release tension works "clock-wise" , right ?
I'd rather avoid complete FD re-adjustment as well , as big-big is working fine "and is more needed" than small-small conf.
