Switching to clipless on pavement was easy. But it took me a while longer to switch to clipless on my mountain bike, especially on single track & technical terrain. After trying several different clipless systems on my bikes I eventually settled on eggbeaters for all my bikes.....road, touring, fixed gear, mtb.... ever since they became available, almost 20 years ago.
