The o.p. really does not want a steel rack, I don't think anyone makes one anyway. Ditto titanium. I think a Planetbike Eco Rack is enough rack (55lb capacity) for anyone, myself. But there is a Bontrager on the back of our new Trek tandem. Very nice. Twice the price of the Planet Bike, but that thing will carry a human passenger.
