Wow, we grabbed our bikes and took Amtrak up from Martinez to Sacto yesterday, road out of the station east on ARBT, returned to Old Sacramento for afternoon margaritas on the water and a relaxing Amtrak ride home..with bar service. Beautiful day along the river and no wind, stopped for coffee and snacks at the CSU campus.

Such a great resource, and a reasonably economical trip. I'm a fan, Go Amtrak!
