I have a 1986 Miyata 710 in the slate/yellow color scheme. The catalog only shows a partial picture of the bike in this color. I was hoping to put the original color tape and hoods on the handle bars. If anyone knows what these colors were I'd appreciate the info. The previous owner had put the cushion grips on it I'm assuming the hoods were gummies, but they have melted or dry rotted on the old DiaCompes. I'm carefully cleaning it off bc I really like the levers. Also, I'm thinking about putting some Conti Classics on too. Anybody use them before? Thanks skitter.
