Don't know what pumba is, but I do grill and/or stew a couple of rabbits every year. Sonny D'Angelo also gave me a great recipe for rabbit in agroducle. WF was actually carrying rabbits for a while.
BTW..If you want a really good meal in that area, it's hard to beat Monsu on the corner of 9th & Christian. Sicilian inspired BYO owned by the same guy who owns the much-praised Modo Mio. Great food, including a four-course fixed price. Great service, including this great waitress from Albania. But it's cash only.
