Hi i have had two types of bicycle alarms on my bicycle and one got stolen off the bike tonight. The one that got stolen is a wireless one . The security dude that was nearby said it was going off for a long time but my understanding is that they quieten down as soon as you stop moving the bike. Thats what my other alarm did that was similar. It just didnt have a remote. Uploaded both pics. What i dont also get is how this security guard who says that he heard the alarm for ages said he didnt see the person who had to have a screwdriver to undo two screws then squeeze it off the stem. I think he was lying. I was a couple of metres away from the entrance of a nightclub and they all saw me walk in after i locked the bike. I am a pretty noticeable type of person. Theres no way someone just ripped the alarm off in annoyance as there would have been bits of it around. There was nothing anywhere. Club goers do not carry screwdrivers and there was no sign of the bike being tampered with in any other way. Anyway anyone else got experience with these type of alarms? Do they just keep going off? I have found when i come outside after being in a club or whatever premises the alarm is quiet and i turn it off from being active. I have heard it from a distance on a rare occasion and seen someone near the bike on those times
