3.) Abus - U-Lock GRANIT X Plus 540

Any input on one of these being preferred over the others? Are there other locks in this category I should be considering?
In my case, I feel the stakes are Too High, THE LOSS of either of my bikes would be devastating. The Threat Environment in L. A. Downtown, while certainly not as high as New York or any where near as extreme as London (my understanding is that London is now #1 for bike theft, Kicking the Big Apple off the Top of the mountain), Absolutely Requires the Strongest, Toughest, and best in hardware AND Techniques/Strategies to uuhhm ... 'Encourage' a potential Thief to 'Move Along' to something that's not such a pain to rip off.

Of the 3 locks above: The ABUS Granit X-Plus 540, Absolutely has the Best Provenance/Pedigree (Disclosure: I am somewhat of a Fanboy of ABUS U/D Locks)

I have been using two ABUS U-Locks for the past several years on the streets of Downtown, as well as surrounding communities.
... The Primary Anchoring Lock is the direct predecessor to the U-Lock you are interested in - a Granit X-Plus 54 with a 230mm shackle (Std. Size). Secondary anchoring Lock is an ABUS U mini 40 (This is a Silver rated lock, NOT the Gold rated ABUS U mini 401), unlike the Granit X-Plus 54/540. The U mini 40/401 line are NOT made in Germany.
Combined w/ the full suite of Pinheads security fasteners on the Go Faster Fuji as secondary layer.
This is the result of my own quest to 'Drop Ballast' while still retaining 'High Security' as much as possible. Coming from a double team of big 'K' New York F-U and O.G. Brute (5000 series).
