First impressions - just got back from a 14 mile ride. I was surprised how smooth the ride is. Maybe I'm just used to 700x25 tires but I was really impressed with the ride. Position is, of course, more upright than I'm use to but it's comfortable. May put on a slightly longer stem. The bike is extremely quiet because of the belt drive. Shifting is much quicker and smoother than a derailleur based system. Not sure what the gear ratios are but the top end gear ratio is a little low. Bottom end is fine for the hills I usually encounter.
Pedals have to go. Speedplay Frogs will only stick out 3/4 of an inch more. I'll probably have to replace the Cane Creek Crosstop brake levers too. They are very close to the bars and do not seem to be able to be adjusted so they do not interfere with a comfortable position for the click shifter. I wonder if they were selected to be used with the twist-shifters.
