Good, maybe I will s ee you there this year, John. My friend signed me up because he knew I messed around racing these old bikes from way back, so I'll have to get all the old junk out of my parent's basement. I am worry about the gravel road / fire roads because I (think) refuse to remove my Campy Super Record crank. Maybe MTB gears in the back so I can climb sitting on the saddle for some grip.

Tighten the strap and it will work the same way. I am getting my old cleats out for a ride next week. Oh boy, it going to be lots-o-pain on the outside of my foot. This is not including riding through the cold and having numb foot for the entire ride. Fun times.
