I would think it depends a lot of which carbon fork you get. It's my understanding that carbon is extremely sensitive to design and construction issue in terms of the way it feels, so one carbon fork isn't necessarily going to respond the same as another.

My '01 LeMond Buenos Aires came with a carbon fork that has skinny little blades that make it look like a steel fork. I've read a lot of people saying it's too flex, but I love it.
