I agree that it depends on winters. Denver may no have been in the 70s last week but Monday through Wednesday, it was almost 60°F. Going back to November and December, it was quite balmy for most of the time.

However, looking back at Chicago's weather over the last month, it doesn't look all that bad either. I've ridden through worse...there ain't no seasons for bicycling as far as I'm concerned
